Whilst Sunday Mass is at the core of the parish, there are many other events that take place throughout the year. These events give the opportunity to get together to raise money for the church or one of the charities we support or to celebrate a particular occasion. This page shows archived parish events from our previous website for information. It is good to be reminded of the surpassing value of this powerful spiritual weapon - endorsed by the saints and by Our Blessed Lady herself in all her recent apparitions. May the month of the Holy Rosary inspire us to use this form of prayer with greater devotion and regularity

09.07.2016Church Consecration – Final Details and Arrangements: WelcomeOn Saturday 9th July at 12 noon we welcome Archbishop Bernard to consecrate our church. The Rite of Consecration will involve the blessing of the church and altar with holy water and oil and the relic of St Margaret Mary will be sealed in the altar upon which incense will be burned. This is a very special celebration and an important moment in the history of our community. Please be seated by 11.45 am so we can be ready in good time before the Archbishop starts
09.07.2016Church Consecration – Final Details and Arrangements: Buffet LunchThe Service will be followed by a free buffet lunch with wine/soft drinks & celebratory cake. 150 have been catered for incl. vegetarian options. Please join the celebrations

26.06.2016Mass with the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick Every last Thursday in the month there is an opportunity for those who are sick to partake of this sacrament. The practice of being anointed with oil as a powerful prayer for strengthening and healing dates back to the earliest Church. Scripture bears witness to this when it says: “Are there any who are sick among you? Let them send for the priests of the Church and let the priests pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick persons, and the Lord will raise them up; and if they have committed any sins their sins will be forgiven them.
