The disciples had already responded to the Lord's call to them to "Come" and follow him, now Christ commands them to "Go." The kingdom of God is at hand and the call is urgent. They are instructed to travel light. They were not to rely on their own resources but on the bountiful providence of God. Their simplicity of life would help them to remain unencumbered by distractions and help them to stay focussed wholly on their mission.

|21.01.2018||Candle of Dedication for 2018||Our Candle of Dedication is available to go in front of the statue of Our Lady (OL) or the Sacred Heart (SH) your choice. This is lit anew on Sunday and burns for seven days in remembrance of a loved one or in thanksgiving for a special occasion. The dedication is included in the bulletin each week. You can request a Dedication by completing the details on the special envelopes and filling in the diary at the back of the church; a donation of £5 is suggested. Completed envelopes and donations can be handed in to the wardens or Ann Ostler or Bridget Harrison|

There's no need to commit to leading a session (unless you want to!). You just need to be over age 18 and happy to provide a couple of references for the volunteer safeguarding process. We usually have great fun with our children's liturgy group - it's a lovely way to contribute to the running of the church!|

We will commemorate Blessed Robert Grissold, our patron, at the 10.00am Mass on Tuesday 17th July.
On Sunday 12 August, there will be a pilgrimage walk from St Mary Immaculate church, Warwick, to the site 2 miles away on Gallows Hill where three Catholics were martyred, including Blessed Robert Grissold in 1604. The open site of the gallows is believed to be known to be within about 100m and is destined to be built on unless good reason can be found to prevent it. The pilgrimage will be on foot, with some parking at St Mary's - and street parking off Gallows Hill for anyone going direct by car. More details to follow.
Please note that the Mass on Tuesday will begin at 9.30am to allow Father Frank's attendance at the Deanery Meeting at Whitnash. Also, the Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament has been moved from Wednesday to Thursday
This Wednesday July 4th. We are meeting at 2, Byfield Place, Windmill Lane from 10.30am onwards for tea, coffee, cakes and scones. Pray for good weather!

Please pray also, for their parents and families and for their catechists, Ann and Chris. On Friday, we celebrate this Solemnity. St Margaret Mary received the vision of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which led to the devotions which followed. During the Consecration of our church a holy relic of St Margaret Mary was placed in our altar
