Welcome to our new website. 2016 was a very special year for our parish. In July of that year, our church was consecrated by Archbishop Bernard Longley. To commemorate this event, our website was redesigned and modernised to work across a variety of devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets and smart phones. As always, we are dependant on you to provide feedback on this site so please let us know what you think using the contact us page here.
Stop Press! Our parish church was consecrated on 9th July 2016. Come back soon to see a full report on the preparations and the Consecration Mass presided over by Archbishop Bernard Longley here

The Kingdom of God is a mystery even though it is in our midst. The kingdom of God is something altogether new which transforms the old and familiar. Bread becomes the Body of Christ, wine becomes his Blood. And the coming of God's kingdom is God's work - it is a mystery and it comes mysteriously, night and day, while we sleep, when we are awake, making all things new, growing in our midst to produce a harvest that gives glory to God and that harvest is the harvest of our transformed lives, changed, made new, we know not how.

30.11.2016Wednesday meditations after Mass with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 8.00p.mThe series of meditations continue this week, drawing on the life and writings of St. Therese of Lisieux. Therese’s "Little Way" of confidence and trust in God's love and mercy is a way to God for everyone. One Jesuit writer says: "There is only one way for people to confront themselves and that is through silence. Every last Thursday in the month there is an opportunity for those who are sick to partake of this sacrament. The practice of being anointed with oil as a powerful prayer for strengthening and healing dates back to the earliest Church. Scripture bears witness to this when it says: "Are there any who are sick among you? Let them send for the priests of the Church and let the priests pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick persons, and the Lord will raise them up; and if they have committed any sins their sins will be forgiven them."
