The disciples had already responded to the Lord's call to them to "Come" and follow him, now Christ commands them to "Go." The kingdom of God is at hand and the call is urgent. They are instructed to travel light. They were not to rely on their own resources but on the bountiful providence of God. Their simplicity of life would help them to remain unencumbered by distractions and help them to stay focussed wholly on their mission.

We will commemorate Blessed Robert Grissold, our patron, at the 10.00am Mass on Tuesday 17th July.
On Sunday 12 August, there will be a pilgrimage walk from St Mary Immaculate church, Warwick, to the site 2 miles away on Gallows Hill where three Catholics were martyred, including Blessed Robert Grissold in 1604. The open site of the gallows is believed to be known to be within about 100m and is destined to be built on unless good reason can be found to prevent it. The pilgrimage will be on foot, with some parking at St Mary's - and street parking off Gallows Hill for anyone going direct by car. More details to follow.
Please note that the Mass on Tuesday will begin at 9.30am to allow Father Frank's attendance at the Deanery Meeting at Whitnash. Also, the Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament has been moved from Wednesday to Thursday
